Paper rainbows

This was an idea I found online (why reinvent the wheel when there’s already a good idea out there?). This is where I found the idea. I made ours a little more simple by only drawing the arching lines (simpler for Mom is so much better!).

This was a pretty simple craft, and it helped with cutting skills, gluing skills, learning the colors of the rainbow, and color organization!

Supplies needed:

-color construction paper

-glue

-scissors

-white paper

All we did was cut colored paper into strips and then into squares.

To focus on color sorting, I had my kids sort the colors into their own containers.

To help my preschooler when we glued the pieces on, I would draw a line and tell him to glue each color on the line.

Simple and fun!
